Known rebrands ClubsNSW
Over the past months Known has been working with ClubsNSW to develop a new brand image. They were looking to consolodate their myriad of sub-brands into a cohesive and recognisable system. We developed a confident and forward thinking design that capitalises on the heritage of the name. We enhanced the colours and gave the whole brand a more modern feel. ClubsNSW were very happy with the result with minimal time needed for approval and delivery of the final guidelines and brand microsite.

Known launches new nicolangela website
Website Lauch One of our latest website developments is a new fashion showcase for nicolangela. We developed the site with clever usabilty in mind rather than flashy interface graphics. Our opinion is that if you are showcasing the creative work of somebody then the site should be subtle in navigation design and clever in useability. This allows the work of the client to sing. We used some interesting Javascript functionality to allow the user to carefully view each outfit. We also included the ability for nicolangela to be able to update ranges and stockists themselves.

NEW BUSINESS NEWS
Orange Whip Films website
NEW BUSINESS NEWS Known as been retained to design and develop a new website for Orange Whip Films. They are a small production company headed up by Alex Mooney who has been responsible for some of the most effective advertising you will see on TV. Included in their stable of directors are the MacRae brothers who won Project Greenlight Australia, the million dollar funding project run by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Much has happened since my last report of this growing worldwide office sport. Firstly the competitive attitude among staff has led us to adopt the World Governing Body Foosball Tournament Rules. Yes they do exist and yes some people take this pretty seriously. They even have tournaments. Check out Maniac World to get an idea of how seriously good some people are.

BLOG.KNOWN I have to say I am loving and loathing Google Apps at the moment. I am loving some of the really useful stuff they are publishing for running your life and loathing the seemingly half finished permanent beta feel about all of it. I mean some of this stuff is just downright brilliant. Take Google Docs sharing for instance. You can have two people working on the same document and actually see them working in real time. Google Gears is a great new way to utilise the functionality of an online app offline.
